Azathioprine 50 mg
Prevention of organ transplant rejection, Autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease/ulcerative colitis), autoimmune hepatitis and other immune-mediated conditions (as prescribed)
Azathioprine is an immunosuppressant. It is converted in the body to metabolites that inhibit purine synthesis, reducing DNA/RNA formation in rapidly dividing immune cells. This decreases immune response and inflammation.
