Actizinc 50 Tablet

Actizinc 50 Tablet contains Zinc (as Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate) equivalent to elemental Zinc 50 mg per tablet.

Treatment and prevention of zinc deficiency, adjunct in acute diarrhea (especially in children) as per medical advice, supports immune function and wound healing

Zinc is an essential trace element required for many enzymes and proteins involved in immunity, cell growth and repair. Supplementation restores body zinc levels, improving epithelial integrity and immune response.

Take as directed by physician. Usually taken orally with water after food to reduce stomach upset. Keep a gap of at least 2 hours from iron, calcium, antacids or antibiotics like tetracyclines/quinolones.

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, diarrhea, metallic taste

Use with caution in kidney disease. Long-term/high-dose zinc may cause copper deficiency, anemia and reduced HDL; avoid exceeding recommended duration/dose. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reaction occurs.

Tetracyclines, quinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin), penicillamine, iron salts, calcium supplements, antacids, copper supplements (absorption interactions)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
