What is Baycip Tz used for?

Treatment of acute infectious diarrhoea and dysentery (including amoebic/bacterial mixed infections)

How Baycip Tz Works

Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase/topoisomerase IV, stopping bacterial replication. Tinidazole is a nitroimidazole that forms reactive metabolites in anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, damaging DNA and leading to cell death.

Dosage & Directions

Take by mouth as prescribed by a doctor. Usually taken after food with water; swallow whole. Complete the full course; avoid taking with milk/antacids/iron or zinc supplements within 2 hours before or 4–6 hours after ciprofloxacin.
