Important Warnings

Do not use in pregnancy; stop and seek medical help if swelling of face/lips/tongue (angioedema) occurs. Use with caution in kidney disease, liver disease, dehydration/diuretic use, low blood pressure, heart valve disease, and in the elderly. Monitor blood pressure, kidney function and potassium especially after starting or dose changes. Avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless advised.

Potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone
eplerenone
amiloride)
other antihypertensives/diuretics (may cause excessive BP fall)
NSAIDs (ibuprofen/diclofenac—reduced effect and kidney risk)
lithium (toxicity risk)
ARBs/aliskiren (higher risk of kidney issues/hyperkalaemia)
sacubitril/valsartan (angioedema risk—washout required)
trimethoprim (hyperkalaemia risk)
