Known side effects of Glimedose M1 Tab include Hypoglycaemia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, headache, dizziness, weight gain. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Risk of hypoglycaemia (especially if meals are missed, after exercise, or with alcohol); monitor blood glucose. Metformin may rarely cause lactic acidosis—risk increases with severe kidney impairment, dehydration, severe infection, heart/respiratory failure or excessive alcohol; assess renal function before and during therapy. Use caution in liver disease; stop temporarily before/after iodinated contrast procedures and major surgery as advised by doctor. Avoid if type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis; seek medical help for symptoms of low sugar or lactic acidosis (rapid breathing, severe weakness, abdominal discomfort).
