How GLIMEDOSE M2 TAB Works
Glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) increases insulin release from the pancreas and improves insulin sensitivity. Metformin (a biguanide) reduces glucose production in the liver and decreases intestinal glucose absorption while improving peripheral glucose uptake.
Dosage & Directions
Oral tablet; take exactly as prescribed. Usually taken once daily with or just after food (often with breakfast) to reduce stomach upset and risk of low sugar. Swallow whole (do not crush/chew if modified-release); monitor blood glucose regularly.
