What is Itzoft 200MG Caps 10S used for?

Treatment of fungal infections such as aspergillosis
candidiasis (including oral/oesophageal)
cryptococcosis
dermatophytosis (tinea)
pityriasis versicolor
and onychomycosis (fungal nail infection) as prescribed.

How Itzoft 200MG Caps 10S Works

Itraconazole is a triazole antifungal that inhibits fungal CYP450 enzyme (14-α demethylase), blocking ergosterol synthesis. This disrupts fungal cell membrane formation and inhibits fungal growth.

Dosage & Directions

Capsule for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed; typically taken with food/after a full meal for better absorption. Swallow whole; do not open/crush. Take at the same time daily and complete the full course.
