Known side effects of Jubiglim M2 Forte include Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, decreased appetite, metallic taste, headache, dizziness, hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), weight gain. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Prescription-only antidiabetic. Risk of hypoglycaemia (higher with missed meals, alcohol, strenuous exercise, elderly, or with other antidiabetics). Metformin can rarely cause lactic acidosis—seek urgent care for rapid breathing, severe weakness, abdominal pain, vomiting, or unusual sleepiness. Avoid/use with caution in severe kidney impairment; monitor renal function before and during therapy. Use caution in liver disease, heart failure, dehydration, severe infection, or low oxygen states. Temporarily stop metformin before/after iodinated contrast procedures or major surgery as advised by doctor. Monitor blood glucose and HbA1c regularly.
