Composition

Glimepiride 2 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg (extended-release/sustained-release)

Uses of Jubiglim M2 Forte

Type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient; helps control high blood sugar and improve glycaemic control.

• •Lowers fasting and post-meal blood sugar
• •Improves insulin secretion and insulin sensitivity
• •Helps reduce HbA1c when single therapy is inadequate
• •Supports long-term diabetes complication risk reduction with good control

How it works

Glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin. Metformin (a biguanide) reduces glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, lowering blood glucose levels.

Directions for use

Oral tablet. Usually taken once daily with the first main meal (or as directed by doctor). Swallow whole; do not crush/chew (especially if ER/SR). Take at the same time each day and follow prescribed diet/exercise plan.
