Ketoconazole 2% w/w medicated soap (typical for “Keto” soaps)
Fungal skin infections such as tinea (ringworm), athlete’s foot, jock itch, pityriasis versicolor; helps reduce associated itching and scaling
Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This damages the fungal membrane and stops fungal growth, helping clear infection and symptoms.
For external use only. Wet skin, apply soap to affected area, work into lather and leave on for 1–3 minutes, then rinse well. Use once daily or as directed by a doctor; continue for the full advised duration even if symptoms improve.
Common side effects of Keto Soap may include:
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes; rinse with water if contact occurs. Do not use on broken/abraded skin unless advised by a doctor. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling or allergy occurs. Use with caution in children; use during pregnancy/breastfeeding only on doctor’s advice as this is a medicated antifungal product.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Keto Soap. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
