How Lethyrox 12.5 Works
Levothyroxine is a synthetic form of thyroxine (T4), a natural thyroid hormone. It replaces deficient thyroid hormone and is converted in the body to the active hormone (T3), helping normalize metabolism, energy, heart rate and growth.
Dosage & Directions
Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily on an empty stomach (preferably morning) 30–60 minutes before food with water. Take at the same time each day; avoid taking along with calcium/iron/antacids—keep a 4-hour gap unless advised otherwise.
