What is Mupisorb Oint used for?

Treatment of localized bacterial skin infections (e.g.
impetigo
infected eczema/dermatitis
minor infected cuts/wounds) caused by susceptible organisms such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.

How Mupisorb Oint Works

Mupirocin is a topical antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by blocking isoleucyl‑tRNA synthetase. This stops bacterial growth and helps clear susceptible skin infections.

Dosage & Directions

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer 2–3 times daily or as directed by the doctor. May be covered with a light gauze dressing. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and inside the nose unless specifically prescribed; wash hands before and after use.
