What is Olisat 120MG Cap used for?

Management of obesity/overweight for weight loss and weight maintenance in adults
as an adjunct to a reduced-calorie diet; helps reduce risk of weight regain and may improve obesity-related risk factors (e.g.
dyslipidemia).

How Olisat 120MG Cap Works

Orlistat inhibits gastric and pancreatic lipases in the gut, preventing breakdown and absorption of about 30% of dietary fat. The unabsorbed fat is excreted in stools, leading to reduced calorie intake and weight loss.

Dosage & Directions

Oral capsule. Take 120 mg three times daily with each main meal containing fat, during the meal or up to 1 hour after. Skip the dose if a meal is missed or contains no fat. Follow a reduced-calorie, low-fat diet; take a multivitamin (A, D, E, K) at least 2 hours before/after or at bedtime.
