What is Predpen 4 Tab used for?

Treatment of inflammatory and allergic conditions; autoimmune disorders (e.g.
rheumatoid arthritis
lupus); skin diseases; asthma/COPD exacerbations; certain eye/ear inflammations; nephrotic syndrome; adjunct in some cancers as prescribed.

How Predpen 4 Tab Works

Prednisolone is a corticosteroid that suppresses the immune response and reduces inflammation. It decreases production of inflammatory mediators and reduces swelling, redness, itching and allergic symptoms.

Dosage & Directions

Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Usually taken by mouth with food or after meals to reduce stomach upset, preferably in the morning. Swallow with water; do not stop suddenly—dose is tapered as advised.
