Use with caution in renal/hepatic disease, malnutrition, adrenal/pituitary insufficiency, and G6PD deficiency (risk of haemolysis). Seek medical help for severe hypoglycaemia, jaundice, unusual bruising, or allergic reactions. Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Inform doctor before surgery/acute illness; dose adjustments may be needed.
