What is Reclimet OD 60 15S used for?

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve blood glucose control
as an adjunct to diet and exercise; may be used alone or with other antidiabetic medicines as prescribed.

How Reclimet OD 60 15S Works

Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea antidiabetic that stimulates insulin release from pancreatic beta cells and improves peripheral glucose utilization. The modified-release formulation provides sustained glucose-lowering over 24 hours.

Dosage & Directions

Oral tablet (modified release). Take once daily preferably with breakfast, swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew/split unless advised. Dose is individualized by the doctor; take regularly and monitor blood glucose. If a dose is missed, take the next dose at the usual time (do not double).
