What is Sartel-Am used for?

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
especially when single medicine is not adequate; helps reduce risk of heart attack and stroke associated with uncontrolled BP.

How Sartel-Am Works

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II–mediated vasoconstriction and aldosterone effects. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that reduces calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle, causing vasodilation and lowering blood pressure.

Dosage & Directions

Oral tablet. Take once daily as prescribed, preferably at the same time each day; with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
