What is SATROGYL O DRY SYRUP used for?

Treatment of acute infectious diarrhoea and dysentery due to mixed bacterial and protozoal infections; gastroenteritis/intestinal infections where both anaerobic/protozoal and bacterial cover is required

How SATROGYL O DRY SYRUP Works

Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase/topoisomerase IV, stopping bacterial replication. Satranidazole is a nitroimidazole anti-infective active against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa by generating reactive intermediates that damage DNA, leading to cell death.

Dosage & Directions

Oral dry syrup: reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark, shake well, and use the measuring cup/spoon. Give the dose exactly as prescribed; usually taken after food to reduce stomach upset. Shake well before each dose; complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
