Important Warnings

Do not use if allergic to sulfonamides or silver-containing products. Use with caution in patients with severe kidney or liver disease, G6PD deficiency, or extensive burns (systemic absorption possible). Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucosa. Stop and seek medical advice if severe irritation, rash, fever, or signs of allergy occur. Not recommended for premature neonates or infants <2 months due to risk of kernicterus. Use only on doctor’s advice in large area application.

Silveron Gel 20GM may interact with the following:

May interact with other topical agents/dressings applied on the same site (reduced effect/irritation). Concomitant use with proteolytic enzymes for debridement may reduce enzyme activity. If systemic absorption occurs on large burns
interactions similar to sulfonamides are possible (e.g.
warfarin
phenytoin
methotrexate) — consult doctor.
