Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension
How SIMBRINZA DROPS Works
Brinzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that reduces aqueous humour production in the eye, lowering intraocular pressure. Brimonidine is an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that decreases aqueous humour formation and increases uveoscleral outflow, further reducing IOP.
