What is Soframycin Skin Cream used for?

Bacterial skin infections such as infected cuts/wounds
abrasions
minor burns
boils
impetigo

How Soframycin Skin Cream Works

Framycetin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. This stops growth and leads to killing of susceptible bacteria on the skin.

Dosage & Directions

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer 2-3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Can be covered with a sterile dressing if advised. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and inside nose; wash hands after use.
