What is Telmodor-A 80/5MG Tab used for?

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
especially when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with single therapy; helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack related to uncontrolled BP.

How Telmodor-A 80/5MG Tab Works

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II effects, lowering blood pressure. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that widens arteries by reducing calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle. Together they provide additive blood-pressure lowering.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow with water; do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
