What is Topisal MF 3% Ointment used for?

Inflammatory
itchy skin conditions with suspected fungal involvement and scaling/thickened skin such as infected eczema/dermatitis

How Topisal MF 3% Ointment Works

Clobetasol is a very potent corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling and itching by suppressing inflammatory mediators. Miconazole is an imidazole antifungal that damages fungal cell membranes by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic that softens and removes thick scales and enhances penetration of other actives.

Dosage & Directions

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer 1–2 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Use for the shortest duration needed; avoid covering with tight occlusive dressings unless advised. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, face, groin/underarms unless prescribed; wash hands after application.
