Important Warnings

Use with caution in kidney or liver impairment, dehydration, low blood pressure, diabetes, gout (may increase uric acid) and electrolyte disturbances. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function and electrolytes (especially potassium, sodium, magnesium) is advised. Excessive diuresis can cause dehydration and fainting; avoid driving if dizzy. Seek medical help for severe weakness, confusion, irregular heartbeat, hearing changes, or allergic reactions (sulfonamide-related hypersensitivity possible).
