Uses of Vildanol 50 Tablet

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (as an adjunct to diet and exercise) to improve glycaemic control; used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines as prescribed.

How it works

Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor. It increases levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP), which enhance glucose-dependent insulin release and reduce glucagon secretion, lowering blood sugar with low risk of hypoglycaemia when used alone.

Directions for use

Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; take at the same time(s) each day. Do not stop without medical advice.
