What is Vildarise 50MG Tab used for?

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycaemic control
as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines (e.g.
metformin
sulfonylureas
insulin
thiazolidinediones) along with diet and exercise.

How Vildarise 50MG Tab Works

Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP). This enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion and reduces glucagon release, lowering blood glucose with a low risk of hypoglycaemia when used alone.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually 50 mg once or twice daily depending on regimen and combination therapy. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day and do not stop without medical advice.
