Important Warnings

Prescription-only. Risk of pancreatitis (seek care for severe persistent abdominal pain); gallbladder disease (cholelithiasis/cholecystitis) possible. Contraindicated/avoid in patients with personal/family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2; discontinue if thyroid mass/hoarseness develops.
