What is Zedocef-100 DT used for?

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as acute otitis media (ear infection)
pharyngitis/tonsillitis

How Zedocef-100 DT Works

Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis and death. It is effective only against bacterial (not viral) infections.

Dosage & Directions

Dispersible tablet: dissolve in a small amount of water and consume immediately, or swallow as directed. Can be taken with or without food (taking with food may reduce stomach upset). Use exactly as prescribed and complete the full course; do not stop early even if you feel better.
