Teneligliptin 20 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (usually as sustained/extended release; verify pack)

Teneligliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin hormones (GLP-1, GIP), enhancing glucose-dependent insulin release and reducing glucagon secretion. Metformin decreases hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity, lowering fasting and post-meal glucose.

Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily with food (preferably with the main meal) to reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole if SR/ER; do not crush or chew. Monitor blood glucose regularly.
