Type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are insufficient; helps control high blood sugar in adults
How ZORYL M3 FORTE TAB Works
Glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) increases insulin release from the pancreas and improves insulin sensitivity. Metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and decreases intestinal glucose absorption, improving peripheral glucose uptake. Together they lower fasting and post‑meal blood glucose.
Dosage & Directions
Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily with food (preferably with the main meal) to reduce stomach upset and risk of low sugar. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew if it is a prolonged/extended-release tablet. Monitor blood glucose regularly.
