Ausum Tablet

Ausum Tablet contains L-Methyl Folate (1mg) + Methylcobalamin (1500mcg) + Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (3mg) and is used for nutritional deficiencies.

Nutritional deficiencies

Ausum Tablet is a combination of three nutritional supplements. L-Methyl Folate is a form of folate that replenishes the folic acid deficiency, this in turn helps in the formation of new red blood cells to treat or prevent anemia. Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxal-5-phosphate are vitamins. They restore any vitamin deficiencies in the body. This helps in maintaining proper hormonal balance in the body to ensure appropriate growth and functioning of the organs.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ausum Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless. Do not take high-dose vitamin B6 for long periods without medical advice — sustained excess can cause nerve damage.

Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
