Warnings & Precautions
Serious allergy risk in cephalosporin/penicillin allergy. Cefoperazone may increase bleeding risk and can cause hypoprothrombinemia; patients with malnutrition, liver disease, or prolonged therapy may need monitoring/vitamin K. Avoid alcohol during and for 72 hours after therapy due to possible disulfiram-like reaction. Use caution in liver impairment and biliary obstruction.
