Clavam Forte Dry Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Use with caution
Clavam Forte Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Clavam Forte Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Moderate to severe bacterial infections in children such as otitis media, sinusitis, lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections (as prescribed)
Amoxicillin kills susceptible bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, restoring amoxicillin activity against resistant organisms.
Reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark; shake well. Administer measured dose as prescribed, preferably with food, at fixed times. Shake well before each use and complete the full antibiotic course.
Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, rash, oral thrush, diaper rash
Do not use in patients with penicillin allergy or previous cholestatic jaundice/hepatic dysfunction with amoxicillin-clavulanate. Use with caution in liver/kidney disease; monitor for jaundice or severe diarrhea. Seek urgent care for allergic reactions.
Warfarin/acenocoumarol, allopurinol, methotrexate, probenecid, oral contraceptives (reduced efficacy possible)
Store dry powder below 25°C. After reconstitution, store in refrigerator (2-8°C) and use within 7 days or as per label; do not freeze.
