Macpod AZ Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Macpod AZ Tablet.

Macpod Az Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Azithromycin. Cefpodoxime Proxetil works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Macpod Az Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
