Manforce Staylong Gel is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br/>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Manforce Staylong Gel is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
No significant interaction with alcohol is expected.
Not expected to affect your ability to drive.
No dose change is usually needed in kidney disease.
No dose change is usually needed in liver disease.
Monograph
Manforce Staylong Tablet contains Lidocaine (2.5%w/w) + Prilocaine (2.5%w/w). Prescription required.
Manforce Staylong Gel is used for local anesthesia.
Manforce Staylong Gel is a combination of two medicines: Prilocaine and Lidocaine/Lignocaine. They work by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases the sensation of pain.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
Local irritation, Redness, Stinging
For external use only, unless the pack says otherwise. See a doctor for a deep, dirty or heavily bleeding wound, an animal bite, or any wound showing signs of infection. Check that your tetanus cover is current after any dirty or penetrating wound.
No significant interactions are expected.
