Napigard Powder

Napigard Powder contains Lignocaine (2.5%w/w) + Zinc Oxide (8%w/w) + Benzalkonium (0.1%w/w) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of minor injuries, wound care, first aid, skin conditions, skin care, wound cleaning, minor cuts and grazes and skin disinfection.

This medicine combines 3 active ingredients: Lidocaine, Zinc Oxide and Benzalkonium. Lidocaine supports the care of a minor injury or wound. Zinc Oxide acts on the skin to treat or soothe the condition it is prescribed for. Benzalkonium kills germs on the skin and in a wound, reducing the chance of infection.

Empty the contents into a glass of water, stir until dissolved and drink it straight away. Do not keep a made-up dose for later. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

For external use only, unless the pack says otherwise. See a doctor for a deep, dirty or heavily bleeding wound, an animal bite, or any wound showing signs of infection. Check that your tetanus cover is current after any dirty or penetrating wound. Stop if the skin becomes more irritated, and see a doctor if the condition worsens or spreads. Do a small test patch first if you have sensitive skin. For external use only. Keep away from the eyes and the inside of the mouth and nose unless the product is made for that purpose. Do not use a strong antiseptic repeatedly on an open wound — clean running water and soap around the edges are usually better, and harsh antiseptics slow healing. See a doctor for a deep or dirty wound, an animal bite, a wound that will not stop bleeding, or one that becomes red, swollen, warm or discharges.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children.
