Pantop HP Kit is a combination of three medicines: Amoxicillin, Pantoprazole and Clarithromycin, which treats stomach/intestinal ulcers caused by the bacteria. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall). Clarithromycin is also an antibiotic which stops bacteria from growing by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for their survival. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pantop HP Kit is to be taken empty stomach.

Use with caution in patients with liver disease, history of allergic reactions to penicillin or macrolides, and during pregnancy.

May interact with warfarin, methotrexate, and certain antifungals like ketoconazole.
