MCTs are fats that are digested and absorbed more rapidly than long-chain triglycerides. They are transported to the liver and can be quickly used to produce energy and ketones, providing a readily available calorie source.

Oral powder. Mix in water, milk, smoothies, coffee/tea or add to food as directed on the label or by a dietitian/doctor. Start with a small amount to assess tolerance and increase gradually. Take with or after food if stomach upset occurs.
