Fluticasone propionate is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, swelling and mucus production. Salmeterol is a long-acting beta2-agonist that relaxes airway smooth muscles to keep the airways open for easier breathing. Together they improve symptom control and reduce exacerbations when used regularly.

For inhalation use only with the Synchrobreathe inhaler as prescribed. Use regularly at the same times each day; rinse mouth/gargle with water after each use and spit out. Not for sudden breathing attacks—keep a rescue inhaler (e.g., salbutamol) available. Follow correct inhalation technique and dose count (120 metered doses).

Throat irritation, hoarseness/voice change, cough, headache, oral thrush (candidiasis), nausea, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps

Not for acute bronchospasm/rapid relief. Do not exceed prescribed dose or stop abruptly without medical advice. Rinse mouth after use to reduce risk of oral thrush. Use with caution in diabetes, hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease/arrhythmias, hypertension, glaucoma, osteoporosis, liver impairment, and in patients with active/latent infections (e.g., tuberculosis) as steroids may worsen infections. Seek medical help if breathing worsens after inhalation (paradoxical bronchospasm) or if signs of pneumonia occur in COPD. Long-term/high-dose inhaled steroids may cause adrenal suppression and reduced bone mineral density.

Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (ritonavir, cobicistat, ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin) may increase fluticasone/salmeterol levels and systemic steroid effects; beta-blockers may reduce bronchodilator effect; other sympathomimetics may increase cardiovascular side effects; diuretics/xanthines/corticosteroids may increase risk of hypokalemia; MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants may enhance cardiovascular effects; other LABA-containing products should be avoided.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from heat/direct sunlight and moisture. Keep inhaler clean and dry; do not puncture or expose to flames. Keep out of reach of children.
