Styptovit Tx 500 Tablet contains Tranexamic Acid (250mg) + Ethamsylate (250mg) and is used for heavy menstrual bleeding. Prescription required.

Heavy menstrual bleeding

Styptovit TX 250mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: tranexamic acid and ethamsylate. Tranexamic acid is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots and controlling excessive bleeding. Ethamsylate is a hemostatic. It works by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and form blood clots. It also helps control bleeding from tiny blood vessels (capillaries).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Styptovit TX 250mg/250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This is a prescription-only medicine. Take it exactly as your doctor has directed, for the period directed. Do not share it with anyone else, even if their symptoms seem the same. Tell your doctor about every other medicine, supplement and herbal product you take. Report any unexpected or severe symptom to your doctor rather than stopping on your own.
