Sunapro Tablet

Sunapro Tablet contains Naproxen (500mg) + Sumatriptan (85mg). Prescription required.

Sunapro Tablet is used in the treatment of migraine.

Sunapro Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sumatriptan and Naproxen that treat migraine. Sumatriptan is a selective 5HT1-receptor agonist which relieves headache by narrowing the widened blood vessels in the head. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers and decreases general inflammation and pain caused due to migraine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sunapro Tablet is to be taken with food.<br/>This will help to avoid stomach upset.

Take it with or just after food, and for the shortest time that works. Stop and seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, vomiting blood, or severe stomach pain — this group can cause bleeding from the stomach. Long or high-dose use raises the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney injury, particularly in older people and those already at risk. Avoid if you are dehydrated or have an illness with vomiting or loose motions — the kidneys are vulnerable then. Must be avoided in the last three months of pregnancy. Do not stop this medicine suddenly without asking your doctor. This medicine causes drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you. Report any change in mood, sleep or behaviour.

Combining with a blood thinner or aspirin sharply raises the bleeding risk. Reduces the effect of blood pressure medicines and water tablets, and together with them can harm the kidneys. Never take two anti-inflammatory painkillers at the same time. Alcohol and other sedating medicines add to the drowsiness.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
