Taxim-O Xl Tablet contains Cefixime (200mg) + Dicloxacillin (500mg) + Lactobacillus (2.5Billion Spores) and is used for bacterial infections. Prescription required.

Treatment of Bacterial infections

Taxim-O XL Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Dicloxacillin and Lactobacillus. Cefixime and Dicloxacillin are antibiotics which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Taxim-O XL Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Use with caution in patients with a history of seizures, renal impairment, or allergic reactions to antibiotics.

Antacids, iron supplements, warfarin, other antibiotics

Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from light and moisture.
