Bleeding

Tenacid 500mg Injection is an anti-fibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods, or after surgery.

Injection: to be administered only by a doctor/nurse. Dose and frequency depend on the condition being treated; do not self-inject.

Schedule H medicine: use only on prescription and under medical supervision. Do not use if allergic to any component. Seek urgent help if rash, breathing difficulty, severe dizziness, or swelling occurs. Use with caution in patients with liver/kidney disease or bleeding disorders (if applicable) as per clinician advice.

Other prescription medicines may interact; tell your doctor about all medicines including blood thinners, painkillers, antibiotics, and herbal supplements.

Store as per label; generally keep below 25°C, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
