How does this medicine work?
Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis leading to bacterial death. Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase/topoisomerase IV, preventing DNA replication. Together they provide broad antibacterial coverage against susceptible organisms.
How should I use this medicine?
Dry syrup: reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark; shake well. Give the dose exactly as prescribed by the doctor (usually in 1–2 divided doses), with or without food; if stomach upset occurs, give after food. Shake well before each dose and complete the full course.
