Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as acute otitis media (ear infection), pharyngitis/tonsillitis, acute sinusitis, acute bronchitis/exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia, and uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections (as prescribed).

How does this medicine work?
Cefpodoxime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins, leading to cell lysis and death of susceptible bacteria.
How should I use this medicine?
Dry syrup: Reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark and shake well. Give the prescribed dose using a measuring cup/spoon; can be taken with food (often improves absorption/tolerance). Shake well before each dose; complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

Store dry powder in a cool, dry place below 25°C, protected from moisture and light. After reconstitution, store as per label (commonly in a refrigerator 2–8°C) and use within the recommended period; do not freeze; keep cap tightly closed.
