How it works

  1. Fill a short case sheet

The front desk starts it; the doctor finishes it.

  2. The certificate writes itself

Wording built from those facts, checked before signing.

  3. The doctor reads and signs

Own signature and seal, or a wet-ink scan.

  4. Hand it over, anyone can check it

A PDF with your serial and a QR code anyone can scan.

Facts come only from the case sheet. Nothing is added that the doctor did not record.

The rules are checked for you

Built around the NMC Ethics Regulations and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020. The tool stops a certificate that breaks them before it reaches the signing step.

  • Identification mark and patient signature or thumb impression on the paper
  • “After careful personal examination” wording where it is required
  • Backdating limits, so a certificate cannot quietly cover days already gone
  • Maximum days per type, and a video consultation required for longer leave
  • Types that need an in-person examination are blocked from online issue
  • Travel limits for pregnancy on fit-to-fly

A register that cannot be rewritten

Trust is what makes a certificate worth accepting. Every one you issue can be checked by the person who receives it.

  • Your own serial series

Numbered in your hospital's series, so it reads like yours.

  • QR check

Anyone can scan it. The patient's name is masked and the doctor's registration number is never shown.

  • Tamper fingerprint

The page can confirm that a PDF is the original file.

  • Append-only register

No deleting, no editing. Revocations and corrections carry revision numbers and supersede the old one. Export to CSV for audits.

Questions hospitals ask

Does the software replace the doctor's judgement?

No. The doctor examines the patient, fills the case sheet and signs. The tool writes the wording from the doctor's facts and checks the rules. It never invents a diagnosis or a date.

Is it approved by a medical council or the government?

No. It is built around the NMC Ethics Regulations and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020, and applies their rules as checks. It carries no government approval or certification, and your hospital remains responsible for what it issues.

What can someone see when they scan the QR code?

That the certificate exists in your register, its type and dates, your hospital name and the issuing doctor's council, with the patient's name masked. The doctor's registration number is never shown. The page can also confirm that a PDF is the original file, not an edited copy.

Can a certificate be deleted or changed after it is issued?

No. The register is append-only. A mistake is handled by revoking the certificate or issuing a correction with a new revision number, which supersedes the old one. Both stay on record. You can export the register as CSV for audits.

Do we need to use the online part?

No. Many hospitals only use the walk-in counter flow. Patient requests with online payment and built-in video consultation are optional.
