What is A-Tret 25MG Cap used for?

Treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL
M3 subtype) in patients with t(15;17) / PML-RARA

How A-Tret 25MG Cap Works

Tretinoin is a retinoid that binds to retinoic acid receptors and promotes differentiation and maturation of malignant promyelocytes. In APL it helps overcome the differentiation block caused by the PML-RARA fusion, reducing abnormal blasts and helping restore normal blood cell development.

Dosage & Directions

Oral capsule. Dose and duration are strictly as prescribed by an oncologist (commonly weight-based in APL). Swallow whole with water, preferably with food to improve absorption; take at the same times each day. Do not crush or open the capsule.
