Injection
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated September 2026
Cobatus Injection is a combination of three nutritional supplements: Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin, Niacinamide and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), which replenishes the body's stores of important nutrients.
Take the missed dose of Cobatus as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Cobatus than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Cobatus are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
| Pregnancy | Unknown. Human and animal studies are not available. Please consult your doctor. |
|---|---|
| Breastfeeding | Cobatus Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby. |
| Alcohol | Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor. |
| Kidney | Cobatus Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cobatus Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. |
| Liver | Cobatus Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cobatus Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. |
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Cobatus. Some combinations can change how Cobatus works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Cobatus below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
