What is Modlip 20MG Tab used for?

Used for management of high cholesterol (hyperlipidaemia) and prevention of cardiovascular events (heart attack
stroke) in at-risk patients; also helps treat/ prevent vitamin D deficiency alongside statin therapy.

How Modlip 20MG Tab Works

Atorvastatin is an HMG‑CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that reduces cholesterol synthesis in the liver, lowering LDL and triglycerides and modestly increasing HDL. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is converted to active vitamin D, improving calcium absorption and bone/muscle health and correcting vitamin D deficiency.

Dosage & Directions

Take by mouth as advised by the doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow tablet whole with water; continue diet/exercise advice. Avoid excessive grapefruit juice.
