Teneligliptin 20 mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg (Prolonged/Extended Release, if specified on pack)

Teneligliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin levels (GLP-1, GIP), thereby increasing insulin release and decreasing glucagon in a glucose-dependent manner. Metformin decreases hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity, reducing blood glucose levels.

Take by mouth exactly as prescribed. Usually taken once daily with food (preferably with evening meal) to reduce stomach upset; if it is an extended-release tablet, swallow whole—do not crush/chew/split. Monitor blood glucose regularly.
